Hello everyone,
Midnitez here with the re-cap of yesterday's meet! For those who couldn't come we missed you but there is always the next one and we can't wait to see you come out.
So the DevMeet began a little past 1PM where we all met at Broadview Station. It was myself Midnitez-REMIX as well as justMANGO and her boyfriend Ian, SansNoir and a newcomer to meets Sin-Q-Bus. We met and immediately walked over to the free shuttlebuss while talking and laughing about random stuff. Some how we got talking about aligators in the sewers and that became a running gag that popped in and out throughout the meet. lol
And the bus came and took us all to the Evergreen Brickworks:
We explored their interesting market filled with all sorts of odds and ends, the surrounding area and checked out an exhibit on "Post-Oil City: The History of the City's Future". I think Fantasia (justMANGO) and Ian were more into it than the rest of us but that's alright, some of it was pretty interesting. Though Will (Sin-Q-Bus) turned out to be a great photographer and was taking pictures of the building as we explored it.
We also checked out the Brickworks' backyard? XD
We hiked up and down steep hills, traveled through bee-infested bushes and carefully stepped across thin rocky paths; a real adventure! Well maybe it sounds bad when I explain it, but I think everyone had a lot of fun and we got some nice photos as well. And by the time we finished our adventure it had begun to rain and so we went for dinner.
We were all pretty wet so we decided to take the subway to the "Pickle Barrel" at Younge and Dundas.
We had a great filling dinner; it's a nice restaurant with many types of food. And some of us learned what level of spice we can and can't handle XD. And the drinks were huge, Ian had a beer glass as long as my arm and I got a "Killer Shake"; a milkshake in a glass that was the size of my head! Lots of fun, lots of talking about videogames, thoughts on life and random stupid stuff.
All in all, lots of laughs, a fun and interesting experience, a great chance to meet and get to know lots of nice and cool people of all ages and I can't wait for what's next! Again, hope to see you there next time.

Hiatus.
Hey all, I know you haven't seen many posts here in a while, let alone from me. One of my main devMEET planners has stepped down, and as a lot of you know, I'm not in a position to plan meets at this time (still). So for now the group will have to be on a hiatus. Maintaining Supergroup status without decent amounts of people attending devMEETs in the past has put quite a damper on the group, we ended up having to sprout out to an actual meet-up type website in order to plan meets properly.
If you or anyone you know would be able to help plan and organize devMEETs, please send me a personal note or to the group.
Thank you. :)
