REMINDER: Our next DeviantMEET is this Sunday. Please RSVP if you're coming.
RSVP HERE
PART I: World Press Photo 2012 Exhibition
Where: Brookfield Place (We'll meet at the Bay Street entrance)
When: 2:00 pm
Browse this travelling exhibit showcasing award-winning photojournalism and documentary images from the past year. Each year's collection features subject matter ranging from the charming to the cathartic. The Toronto exhibit is being hosted by Brookfield Place, a photogenic landmark in and of itself. For more information, go here.
PART II: Hallowe'en/Cosplay Costume Chat
Where: Starbucks at Brookfield Place (Concourse Level, by PATH entrance)*
When: 4:00 pm
Whether it's for Hallowe'en or the next Anime con, tell us about your new costume project. Come with ideas, pictures, sketches... or in the actual costume, if you want! Present your handiwork, share ideas, and seek input. And if you don't have any costume plans, come anyway. Perhaps we'll inspire you.
*Depending on the weather and the will of the group, we may move to an outdoor location.
PART III: Devious Dinner & Drinks
Where: TBD (stay tuned for updates)
When: 6:00 pm
Show us what you're working on. Tell us about your next project. Share your favorite work. Inspire each other. Oh yeah – and eat!
But wait... there's more!
In addition to this month's regularly scheduled DeviantMEET, join us at the Anime North and JCCC Halloween and Doujika Festival being held at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre on Friday, October 26 from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am. Admission is $10 (or $8 with your JCCC or AN2012 membership.) This Hallowe'en dance is not a DeviantART event, but us costumed Deviants will gather there anyway for group photos and shared fun. For more info, go here. We'll post another reminder about this in the coming weeks.

Hiatus.
Hey all, I know you haven't seen many posts here in a while, let alone from me. One of my main devMEET planners has stepped down, and as a lot of you know, I'm not in a position to plan meets at this time (still). So for now the group will have to be on a hiatus. Maintaining Supergroup status without decent amounts of people attending devMEETs in the past has put quite a damper on the group, we ended up having to sprout out to an actual meet-up type website in order to plan meets properly.
If you or anyone you know would be able to help plan and organize devMEETs, please send me a personal note or to the group.
Thank you. :)
